This Privacy Policy explains how the Circle Focus mobile game (“Circle Focus”, “the app”, “we” or “us”) handles information.

Information stored on your device

The app stores your best score and, if you enter one, your leaderboard player name in local storage on your device. This information preserves your progress and prefills your player name. You can remove it by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app.

Leaderboard

Submitting a score is optional. When you choose to submit one, the app sends the player name you entered, your score, device platform and an app/device identifier to our leaderboard service over HTTPS. We use this information to display and protect the leaderboard and reduce invalid or duplicate submissions. A submitted player name and score may be publicly visible. Do not use your real name if you do not want it displayed.

Advertising and consent

The app uses Google AdMob to display ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform to request and record privacy choices where required. Depending on your device, region and choices, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as IP address, device or advertising identifiers, general location inferred from an IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information and ad performance data. This may be used to deliver, limit, personalize and measure advertising, prevent fraud, and improve services.

Where required, the app asks for your choice before requesting ads. Available ad modes depend on your region and choice. Learn more about how Google uses information from apps that use its services and review Google’s Privacy Policy.

Information we do not request

Circle Focus does not ask for an account, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone access or precise GPS location. The app does not process payments.

Data sharing and retention

Leaderboard information is processed by our hosting provider solely to operate the service. Advertising information is processed by Google and participating advertising partners under their own privacy terms and your available consent choices. We retain leaderboard entries while the leaderboard is operated or until removal is reasonably requested, unless retention is required for security or legal reasons.

Your choices

• You may play without submitting a leaderboard score.
• You may use a nickname instead of your real name.
• You may review the privacy choices offered by the consent message where available.
• You may request access to or removal of a leaderboard entry by contacting us and providing enough information to identify the entry.

Children

The app is not specifically directed to children under the minimum age required to consent to personal-data processing in their country. We do not knowingly request a child’s real name or contact information. A parent or guardian may contact us about removal of a leaderboard entry.

Security and international processing

Leaderboard submissions use HTTPS. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Google and hosting providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their applicable safeguards.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, its services or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on the Circle Focus website, and the “Last updated” date will be revised.
